Simply Financial Advice already works with a few accountants in the Derby, Nottingham, Burton and Leicestershire areas providing individuals, business owners and Directors financial advice on their finances.

We work alongside you and your client to provide the best possible advice to any new or existing customers. We also ensure that your clients are kept in regular contact to ensure that their finances are achieving their expected obligations and goals.

Where we really come into our own, is the advice and help we can provide in setting up the following services:

  • Death in Service cover
  • Self Employed/Business Owners/Directors Mortgages

When we take on one of your clients, our aim at Simply is to work with them for the rest of their lives and hope that this continues on to their next of kin, children and grandchildren. We find that our way of working with clients is satisfying and by only providing advice that we would give to our own parents, a peace of mind for both parties, that way we know we have offered the best possible service.

We pay referral fee’s on any clients you pass across, alternatively if you don’t want a referral, we can arrange referrals back to yourself, as we have clients actively looking for help with their business accounts and tax affairs.

At every point of dealing with you and your clients, we will keep you informed and even invite you to any meetings that you wish to be in on, or your client requests your attendance. If your client doesn’t mind we can send any findings to yourself, for your own records.

We will actively promote the services of an accountant to our clients and future clients with taxation issues and advice. Afterall, for some reason, many people get confused between financial advisers and accountants.


Target client

Unlike many other financial advisers, we do not have a particular type of customer, whilst we are in business, high net worth customers are not our overall goal.

However, if you do pass over high net worth customers, usually customers who have over £100,000 to invest, which is either already invested in pensions, ISA’s and/or deposit accounts) or have an estate worth £500,000 (£1 million for couples). Then we have already proven in past cases that the return we make for our clients, far outweighs the fee that Simply Financial Advice charges.

We suggest setting up a joint meeting between the three parties, to discuss options. Then it is down to your customer to decide whether or not to take up our services. Any future meetings with the client can be joint, or just between ourselves and your clients.
