In the recent 2014 Budget, Chancellor George Osborne announced a change to the Individual Savings Accounts (ISA) limits for 2014. From 6th April 2014 up until the 1st July the maximum amount that can be invested into ISA, either stocks and shares and/or cash is £11,800 however, from 1st July this amount can be topped up to a maximum of £15,000! When the limit increases on 1st July, it will also be the first time investors have been given the opportunity to invest wholly in cash up to the maximum ISA limit.
The Junior ISA limit will also increase from 6th April 2014 to £4,000.
